Our Intuitive Content Management System (ICMS) has been developed to enable authorised users to update and edit content directly on web pages.
ICMS is fully integrated into the website so that editing takes place in the browser and no special software is required to be installed on the user’s PC. This means you can edit your website anywhere at anytime.
Simple Word Processor Editing
ICMS has been specifically designed to be intuitive in its editing mode so that non-technical users can update the site content easily.
The overall webpage template appears the same throughout and the page to be edited is located using the ordinary website menu. This is far superior to the hidden forms and options menus used on many CMS.
The ethos behind the design for our ICMS is to make the editing and addition of pages an easy and obvious process. When logged in as an editor the normal website links can be used simply to navigate to any page and then edit content in place on the webpage with word-processor style controls.
While editing, the content of the page stays in the same place and looks the same as on the actual website. Any changes are immediately reflected in the formatting. The WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor displays website content exactly as it appears on the site, including images, tables, links, etc.
Documents and images can be uploaded to your site for inclusion on web pages.
Easily Control Pages and Menus
Adding, copying or deleting pages is easy. Editing can be rolled back to previous page versions. Sequencing of the menu is achieved automatically or by dragging and dropping items on a graphical representation of the menu.
